The Capital Project Update and Appeal
The Capital Project Committee is pleased to confirm that the front section works are nearing completion and the attached photographs show work in progress.
The revised contract value for the works is now £100,000 of which £85,000 have been paid to the contractor at the time of writing this update
The Jamaat still requires £15,000 in donations and pledges to meet this short fall in order to secure the completion and the handover by end of November 2008
The Jamaat on handover from the contractor will have assets of two 1 bedroom flats and a shop which will provide revenue stream for the al Zahra Centre, and financial security for the future.

Notice of Annual General Meeting
Please note the Jamaat AGM will be held on Sunday 23rd November 2008 at 1.00pm. The provisional agenda is as follows:
There will be provision for ladies to attend if they wish to do so. Light refreshments will be provided. The AGM will be concluded by 3.30pm.
