That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, And from his mother and his father, And from his wife and his children. Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. [80:34-37]

REFLECTIONS ON THE LIFE OF THE HOLY PROPHET (SAW)
4 English Lectures by Brother Abd al-Rauf Shokoya, every Tuesday during March
Programmes will start at 7.00 pm with congregational Evening Prayers followed by recitation by Brother Rahat Husayn, Du'a-e-Tawassal by Brother Muhammad Murtada, English Majlis, Q & A, ziyarat by Brother Hasan Rada and refreshments.

On behalf of everyone at the AZYB, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your participation at yesterdays tournament. We had an overwhelming response from all of you to what was a hugely successful day. And we can now share some interesting statistics with you...
However, the most satisfying aspect of the day was the way in which everyone came together and in keeping with the spirit of the tournament and the beautiful game , played in a friendly and sporting atmosphere.
This tournament was held in memory of one of the most upstanding members of our community and we can now declare unanimously that we all truly honoured him yesterday.

RECITATION AND DU'A-E-TAWASSAL
Du'a-e-Tawassal is especially recommended to be recited on Tuesday nights, but can be recited at any time one has any difficulty or desire that one needs fulfilled. It is sufficient for us to mention that this Du'a is commonly referred to as, 'The Du'a for quick fulfillment of legitimate desires' and in this supplication, after we mention each Imam and their status and rank in the sight of Allah, we say: "O' our chief, O our master. Surely we turn towards you, seek your intercession and advocacy (Tawassul) before Allah. We put before you, our open needs. O intimate friend of Allah, stand by us when Allah its in judgment over us".
